We match the original stucco's sand size, troweling pattern, and color before paint. After cure, we prime the patched area so paint absorbs uniformly with the surrounding panel.

Ian's debris field - barrel tile, signage, branches, and unsecured patio furniture - produced a Lehigh Acres impact-damage signature that's still visible on un-repaired walls three years after the storm. A chip that broke the finish coat but didn't crack the underlying brown coat is a simple patch: scratch out loose material, dampen the substrate, three-coat with matched aggregate and texture. A stair-step crack near a foundation corner near Lehigh Senior High or a diagonal crack from a window corner suggests structural movement that needs evaluation before any stucco patching. Patching a structural crack without addressing the cause guarantees it returns within a season.
Color matching cured stucco on a 30-year-old Lehigh Acres home is genuinely difficult. The original integral color has weathered, the surface has chalked, and the texture has eroded. We can come close on small patches by using base color, sand, and aggregate samples, but a patch under direct south sun near Sunshine Boulevard will read as a patch within months as the surrounding wall keeps weathering and the patch doesn't. The honest recommendation for any patch over a few square feet is to patch the substrate, then repaint or recoat the entire wall elevation to bring everything to a uniform color.
Stucco repair means removing damaged cementitious stucco and rebuilding the three-coat system at the affected area. Elastomeric recoating means applying a thick flexible acrylic coating like Loxon XP over the entire wall, which bridges hairline cracks but doesn't structurally repair anything. For a Lehigh Acres CBS home in 33976 with widespread hairline cracking but sound stucco, elastomeric is the right answer. For a wall with impact damage, spalling, or detached areas, the stucco itself has to be rebuilt first, then optionally coated.
